We typically take several new students every semester, and we look forward to hearing your ideas about research. We welcome undergraduate psychology majors to contact us to discuss the possibility of working in our lab.

Our general expectation is that you work on team projects for one or two semesters, after which you are encouraged to develop your own research ideas and to pursue them in collaboration with the lab team.

Team members collaborate in the design and execution of research, in data collection, data management and analysis; and they staff the lab accordingly.

Our goal is to provide you with the requisite experiences that will make your application attractive to a variety of post-graduate settings, whether it is graduate school, professional school or work in the private sector.

We encourage students to undertake a senior thesis; and to write for internal grants We encourage students to learn statistical programming and to present papers at professional meetings.

We meet as a team on a weekly basis to discuss readings and to plan and implement various research projects.
